Welcome reader, to my wonderful shiny new blog! My name, as you can see is Stu (or Stuart for long) and I am here to give you my take on whatever I feel like writing about. This may be great big massive news stories I’ve seen on the posh papers or just some crazy weird happenings from the ones with red on them.
Alternatively, I may just babble about my day-to-day happenings or my beloved Nottingham Forest Football Club.
A bit of background info about me, just to help us get to know each other…..
My full name is Stuart Anthony Robinson and I was born on the 27th of July 1983 to Steve and Lesley Robinson, at St Mary’s Hospital in Melton Mowbray. I am the second eldest of five siblings and spent my entire childhood living in my home town, which unless you’re a fan of dead pigs in pastry, you will probably never have heard of.
I have a girlfriend called Abigail, who I’ve been with for nearly four years now. She’s a very talented artist and I especially like the painting with me in it. Abi is currently in her final year studying fine art at De Montfort University, and if you like putting nice pictures of stuff on your walls, I suggest you track her down!
I am also a third year student, studying Journalism at the wonderful University of Lincoln – which is actually the oldest city in the world – and I live in a house with two other hacks and a media production student. When I graduate I would like to work in radio news.
Finally for today, I’m a bit deaf. I get by with the help of my trusty sidekick, ‘The Device’ – a fourth century NHS hearing aid.
Until next time, goodbye!
