About

Stuart Robinson is a twenty-something student with a love for sport, sarcasm and music. He is currently in his third year at the University of Lincoln studying BA Hons Journalism.

He hails from the rural market town of Melton Mowbray in Leicestershire and lived there until the age of 22, when he moved to Lincoln to begin his degree.

Stuart’s main area of interest in journalism is radio, although he is keen to keep his options open and test himself in print as well.

Stuart has had limited work experience so far but hopes to gain a reasonable amount during his final year of study. He is part of a placement programme at BBC Radio Lincolnshire, however, Stuart’s hearing difficulties have made it almost impossible for him to use the ancient switchboard they have in operation, and so the placement has been something of a false start.

Stuart is also Co-Head of Sport at 107.3 Siren FM, the community radio station based at the University of Lincoln. He writes for nottinghamforest-mad.co.uk and is currently setting up a blog on theoffside.com.

He makes a pretty decent chilli and poor attempts at playing the guitar.

He supports Nottingham Forest, but does not like pigeons at all!
